I have kept relatively quiet on this whole Ray Rice situation but after not only seeing the various statues, posts, stories about Ray, I am happy to hear that the Ravens terminated his contract. Yes there have been players that have done worse but where is the video proof of that? Not only do we have video proof of it, but this is also evidence that can, should and will land him in jail despite his then fianceé not pressing charges against him. And it all makes sense why he was so calm with the NFL punishment. Yes, she hit him I saw that and I get that, but what we fail to forget, this man is physically stronger than the average man due to his job requirements. He has to possess the ability to run by, through and over men twice his size. Now looking at his wife, she had no protective pads, helmet or other gear on and probably weighs 120-130 lbs. Where was his STRENGTH to just walk away? And to all of those people male and female that stated that it was ok for him to hit her back, just put yourself in her shoes at the time of the knockout punch. Go ahead, I dare you. I await for your response.
