I have long thought that the quantum reality was some sort of such - TopicsExpress

I have long thought that the quantum reality was some sort of such thing. Of course, I did not think of the experimental evidence for this, and such ideas are far from original. But still, it seems to be a vast improvement. And no, the non-locality non-argument is not relevant here. Nonlocality is nonsense. If two entities interact across a distance, there has to be some mechanism by which they interact. Be it some sort of particle exchange, or some other sort of interaction. If particle A causes particle B to change property in some way, they are interacting in some way, and the interaction is NOT literally instantaneous. So no, the issue of locality is not relevant. Noncality is nonsense to begin with. All that can be said is that an interaction has no *observable* mechanism. Which simply means it has not be *observed*. Also, if they are interacting, and this requires something to operate at faster than light speeds, then this should be accepted. There is no magical action at a distance, which allows for interactions without events. Which is what zero time implies.
