I have lost a Brother Richard Reid recently I have lost my Dad Grandfather and my Grandmother each one has been hard to lose, so hard , but as hard as it has been coming from a Christian family and knowing that they have gone to be with the lord, I have learned to have the peace that God talks about~ Philippians 4:6-8 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. "Meditate on These Things" 8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. As I read God’s word I find peace each day, it is so hard for us to deal with death but on the same hand, it is so selfish to want them back when God has taken them to there reward in heaven! John 14 1-3 14 “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. 2 In My Father’s house are many mansions;[a] if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.[b] 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.
