I have new rules about trying out popular comedic shows: 1. I cant watch the first few episodes with other people - if you want me to like it, that is. (Sorry Zac - you were right about 30 Rock being great). 2. I *must* start with the Pilot episode. 3. It probably cant be animated unless H. Jon Benjamin and/or Pendleton Ward are involved. 4. All of the following people must agree in conjunction that its worth my time and is good: Dan, Zac, Allen, Christopher, Dre, and Renn. 5. It probably cant be pure absurdist humor. (Sorry, Tim and Eric. I really only like you on paper.) 6. #4 can override #3, but not #5. 7. The show must run for at least 3 seasons. Needs to have time to marinate. With all of that said, I will be shotgunning 30 Rock, Parks and Rec, and The Office.... even though Im half a decade late....
