I have no doubt that if Zimmerman were black and Trayvon white, the outcome would have been the same. Black Zimmerman, a community patrol volunteer would have called and report a suspicious white guy walking in the neighborhood. The encounter would have ensued and Zimmerman would not have been charged. Why? There would be no case against Zimmerman. The fact of the matter is that there is no evidence, no legal case, so he would not have been charged! But let us assume that they are so racist there that he would have been arrested. It would not have succeeded in court, as there is no evidence! But let us assume again that he is arrested what could have happened? Well, the same people who decried Zimmerman not being charged would have been up in arms demanding that black Zimmerman be released immediately. Whites? Most of them would not have even cared about the whole incident... Too busy living their lives. But if black Zimmerman was charged and gone to trial these things would not have happened: 1. Media would not have doctored pictures and voice recordings; 2. District Attorney would not have overcharged; 3. President would not have spoken against "Stand Your Ground"; 4. President would not have said, "Trayvon could have been me 35 years ago"; 5. Jesse Jackson would not be calling for the United Nations to intervene; 6. No one would be saying race had anything to do with the case, except because Zimmerman was arrested; 7. Lebron et. al. would not have taken the stupid picture with the hoodie. Hoodied hite guy would have been depicted as a hoodied white thug; 8. Those now marching would have been celebrating the verdict , O.J. Simpson case style.
