I have no idea how folks go on vacation for two weeks and then catch up on messages when they get home. Was just gone for 8 hours today, and between emails, messages, blog & FB comments, it is more than Ill get through today. So, seems fitting to make this statement that is perhaps overdue: Ive always tried to pride myself as someone who was accessible- not just someone you read from afar, but someone you can actually dialogue with and get personal responses from. That was easy a year ago, but its far less easy now. I still desire to be that person, but am realizing that with the with the sheer size of things, its simply not humanly possible for me to be as accessible or as active with everyone as Id like to be, while still writing books and generating weekly or daily content on the blog. In 2015, Ill do my best to continue to be as engaged as I can, but it definitely wont be as much as Id like it to be. So, please know: -If you send me a personal message on here, or through the contact form on the blog, I will do my best to respond- but please have grace. It might take me a while, and some might fall through the cracks, but I will always do my best to respond. - The blog comments and FB comments are too many for me to keep up with, so forgive me if I dont see or get to dialogue on your specific thread- Im just not able to read them all anymore, let alone comment as much as Id like. However, please be a good community member on the blog by using the flag option if you see a comment that should be removed- that will help me with moderation. - If youre going to send me hate mail: please use the time youd spend on that and make someone you love a card to tell them how special they are. Youre never to big to make someone a card, and I already get enough nasty messages already, so its a win-win for everyone involved. Thanks to everyone for your loyal readership, kindness and encouragement. I promise Ill always do my best to not only be accessible, but also engaging. However, 2015 will have to be a year of slightly less in that area, as my administrative assistant (me) is realizing its a lot to keep up with these days. Much love, Ben
