Reviewing and revising our god concept or concepts, is a primary avenue to both the personal and global peace, love, and freedom that religion, including Christianity as we know it, has not provided to even its own. According to recent Barna reports, between 4000 and 7000 churches close in our country annually and an average of 1600 pastors leave the ministry every month. About that many people decide to leave their churches and traditional religion daily. Albert Einstein described insanity as doing the same thing over and over the same way and expecting different results. He also said: The difference between stupidity and genius is that genius has its limits. We must all begin to more aggressively and honestly question the prior assumptions. That is the beginning of a brand and brave new world of fascinating and invigorating expanded consciousness! There is a genius and an ingenuity of spirit within our human essence that has yet to be tapped with regard to spirituality beyond religion. Jesus sought to awaken us to it, when he said The Kingdom of God is within you. Gods Kingdom is not religious, manmade or manipulated. It is emerging awareness, elevated consciousness and Self-actualization.
