I have no respect for people who are literally threatened by the truth. Now I lie. All of the time. Everyone does. Anyone who tells you theyre 100% honest 100% of the time is either trying to sell you something, sleep with your daughter, poison your food or suffering from mental illness. I never felt particularly guilty about lying as long as I used discretion and a certain amount of ethical restraint. Honestly in this world there are some things people just dont need to know and some people who just dont need to know things and its a fact of life. However I dont think I have ever become dependant on a lie; to the point where if the lie were to be rooted out I would be shit out of luck. Most of the lies I tell are ones that if caught red handed I could merely shrug and say alright you got me and move on. But some of you...if I can actually weaponize honesty against you then you are nothing, less than the dirt I scrape off my feet before I walk in my door when I get home. Yeah this was another work-inspired word of wisdom. One of these days Im going to use my vacation days to actually...take a vacation....
