I have no words that can begin to describe how proud I am to be living in a community that so willingly supports my daughters foundation. This morning, I was given a check in the amount of $3,360.01 from the children of the grade school who did a fundraising event all week last week in Lexis memory. I am in complete awe at what these children were able to accomplish! The foundation will be able to give $100.00 Christmas gift cards to 80 patients and their families this year thanks to their efforts! I cant wait to take these to the St. Jude Midwest Affiliate so they can be handed out when patients arrive for treatment. What a blessing for them and what a blessing for me to live in such a loving, supportive community!!
