I have not written much about the Maidan this year because I have been so upset about the events of recent days. But today, with the confirmed deaths of two activists (and there may be more) I have to reach out to all my FB friends and ask that you do anything in your power to help the people of the Maidan. Call your government officials, write to newspapers, and PRAY The situation is VERY tense. It looks like Berkut might move on to the Maidan in the evening. People have seen tanks and other equipment making its way to the Maidan. The opposition has gone in for talks with Yanokovych (althugh I doubt that will do any good). Some people have called for the bells of Kyivan churches to start ringing...dont hear them yet.
