I have nothing against Frozen. I like the movie but all the advertising Disney does using it is annoying. So I do bash on it every now and then to take out my frustration. Especially since they dont include Hans in their advertising. (I love him to bits! He us truly the best character in the entire movie. He needs more love). And other princesses saved themselves. And they werent as emotionally unstable as Elsa. If you love analyzing stuff, you will notice a lot of things wrong with it. The usual cliches are there. -The girls have amazing singing voices when not all girls have amazing singing voices. -Its too high! (Our ears!) -The hot villains usually have a sad back story. -The girls tend to be emotional. As someone kindly pointed out, everything occurred because Elsa couldnt control her emotions. Dont believe me? Re-watch the movie. Some revolutionary stuff: -It was a rip-off(for such a big success, it was a rip-off. Hunger Games and 47 Ronin were better movies). (I seriously thought Elsa was going to be the villain.) - A princess has powers! (Correct me if Im wrong.) Some other misc. stuff. -Frozen has similarities to the Lion King. (Watch Honest Trailers: The Lion King and youll see.) Last summer was when I started getting irritated at all the Frozen stuff. Then I read Crime and Punishment and stopped caring. There was better character development in that book than Frozen. I didnt see much difference between Elsa before and Elsa after, except that she became more confident. She didnt become note loving, it was shown that she cared about others. She didnt learn to control her powers; the Let it Go section proved that. She simply gained more confidence, like so many of us nowadays (without the whole ice powers and getting locked up stuff). Since this rant is already too long, Ill compare Rodya (male protagonist in Crime and Punishment) and Elsa in my spare time. You may disagree with me, but this is simply my opinion. Sorry if I offended any hardcore Frozen fans. ~F.T~
