I have nothing against work per se, but I am thankful toady that I am not a working class person. I have done a great deal of construction work, I have driven a truck for a living, worked in factories but was never proud of any of that, not even for a day. I am proud of having learned guitar, bass, some keyboards, to have learned to write songs, paint landscapes, portraits, surreal images and having been able to write stories and draw as well as write graphic biographies for which I coined the phrase. Above all of that for which I am thankful, I am most grateful for my wife Karen, my sons Cameron and Sam, my daughter-in-law, Tiffany and the good friends I have both in real life, (for lack of a better phrase) and those friends I have on facebook but have not yet been able to meet face to face. Thank God Im not a country boy. To hell with the red neck worship this nation has embraced in their blind foolishness. Ha!
