I have officially accepted an offer for a position this summer under the Northeastern States Research Cooperative! I will be working as a field technician on a project that will investigate long-term northern conifer forest productivity, 50 years after whole-tree and stem-only harvesting. The job is varied as we will research various components of the forest, and it will include both laboratory and field work. This will be a great opportunity to apply my acquired knowledge and skills, to gain hands-on experience, and to spend much of my summer in the outdoors doing what I love!
