I have one observation about last nights election. I was at our polls, and I was waiting in line to vote. My friend from high school was there with his 19 year old son who was voting for the first time. This young man was smiling from ear to ear. It was the most beautiful smile I had ever seen. I asked Henry, my friend, Is this his first time voting? Henry said, Yes, hes kind of excited! As Henry, Jr. excited the balloting, I gave him a high five. I said, Congratulations! This is a great time to be a voter. Congratulations on your first election! His smile was larger than life! He was so excited, and you could tell his civic duty to vote was so important to him. I was encouraged by that. It inspired me to take my responsibility of voting seriously. That was much appreciated.
