I have popped this in a couple threads this week, but I think its a good perspective to have about last weeks game. The Pats are viable SB contenders this year, so dont read too much into last weeks game. Holding everything in that game equal, we were still in the game despite the score. Cassel over threw Rudy on a streak down the seam that would have been a TD. He also threw Patterson out of bounds on another TD. If those two throws were made it would have been 21-30 Pats. Now, if Kalil had blocked on the FG, and it went in, it would have been 24-23 Vikes. Even with all the other plays going how they went, if 3 plays were INCHES different, we win. Against a REAL contender with arguably the best coach/QB combo ever. Have faith my brothers and sisters, this team has a future, it just takes patience to see it.
