I have posted my 3 favorite pictures from my recent Medical Mission ! The 1st is a new born baby being wrapped in a brand new baby blanket one of over 100s that my team brought on our Mission, otherwise the babies are wrapped in paper after birth. I love how the light came out in the picture! The 2nd is of my patient who is 29yrs. old who fractured his pelvis 6yrs ago after falling off a ladder and was not treated. Since that time he not only could not walk he could not sit upright in a chair since his legs did not bend at the hip. We repaired his pelvis and gave him bilateral hip replacements. The day we left not only could he sit properly he walked with crutches and did a flight of stairs! The 3rd is a letter that was given to me and my team it is from one of the patients son. His Mom was operated on us last year , we did one knee and she came back and we did her other knee. She had been bed bound for years.
