I have read several things that indicate that more money has been spent trying to keep the public from enjoying our National Parks and seeing our Monuments than it would have cost to keep them open. But thats the government way. We use to make glasses for veterans (with frames provided by the the VA) for about $50. Now they give the veteran a check for $76 for traveling expenses and send them across the state for the same service. And this is the group that some people actually trust to cut health care costs!
