I have realised recently that the major things I am looking for in a church are not what most churches aspire to be. I want a group of under 50 people, all who I am comfortable with, little change, lots of reliability and predictability, basically somewhere safe. I dont want a big crowd, too much randomness or pretence. I also dont want leaders who are black and white about most issues, instead they are comfortable in the greys. What about you? Putting rhetoric and the right answers aside, what are you *honestly* looking for in a spiritual community?
