I have really enjoyed seeing everyones posts about things others may not know about them. I wasnt going to participate and intended to just watch everyone, but here I am. I got the number 9. Like my status and I will give you a number. 1. I have had the privilege of visiting 17 different countries and will be adding two more this summer. 2. One of my favorite gifts I ever received came from my Grandmother - my Moms mom. For my wedding, she typed (remember, before computers) a many of her recipies and put them in a box. She included many of our family favorites, some cleaning tips, and even included a recipe for using acorns. 3. I hate cooking unless it is a big family meal for a holiday. Then I relish every dish I create and actually scour recipies for weeks before the event to find unique, tasty twists on some of the traditional favorites. 4. I love baking. 5. I have called myself, the mixed up product of a semi-Puritanical up-bringing and a liberal education. 6. I have battled extreme shyness my whole life. When I was on stage, I did ok because I got to be someone else for a little while. 7. After one year at CSUSB, I never again attended a traditional college. Most of my higher education was considered non-traditional with almost a year of of my BS passed through CLEP tests. 8. Despite my shyness, I LOVE having people over to my house. I love hosting friends, having parties (only for others, of course), or simply hanging out for bar-be-cues and drinks. 9. One of my greatest desires is to get my doctorate.
