I have received a letter from Police Scotland which advises that the decision to close Bucksburn Service Centre and the Aberdeen Control Room may yet be revised depending on what emerges during the progress of the reform process across Scotland. This means that, while the decision of the Scottish Police Authority to close the service centre and control room remains the current position, it is by no means a closed book and there is still a chance that it will be looked at again.
