I have received some truly beautiful gifts through Facebook recently. For all i am deeply thankful. But I stopped reading newspapers and watching the news over a decade ago. This does not mean I do not engage in social/economic/political/environmental changes in the world. It means I have an emotional way of doing something about it. I am happy that social media has brought us closer to the present and access to more diverse points of view. But I also see old antics of what and how things are defined newsworthy, old alliances and biases blazing through. I can not engage with this because i can not perceive change. I cant even begin to judge/unfriend people based on their views because I can not even comprehend what moves human beings to want to even think about harming one another. I am not about to allow social media to allow mini conflicts and enslavements to erupt in my life. Be mindful in the way we treat precious connections and friendship even on the Internet. I can not blame people for their inability navigate these layers of hatred and deceit. I hope on my return to FB I will have positive news to share with you all. Until then trust I am in the field, sharing, radiating, finding, thinking flowers and being PEACE
