I have recently found out that a rescue here in Alabama is back in business. Unfortunately, they will be pulling young, pure bred dogs and will not pull seniors or mixes. I dont really understand how that is rescue because the young, purebreds dont need their help. They will be adopted without a rescue. This really saddens me because I have developed a wonderful relationship with three other rescues who will pull seniors, mixes and young dogs. Its a lot for these rescues to pull from Alabama. It costs a lot. And I am sure that they will not continue pulling the reject dogs that this other rescue will leave behind. Rescue is NOT about MAKING A DOLLAR on an adoptable dog. Its about saving lives. And dont tell me that you cannot do it. Because I have been doing it alone with the help of these other rescues for years. If they can do it. If I can do it. So can this other rescue. If your not in it 100%, your not in it at all.
