I have recently undertaken a new assignment provided by my ex-Chief at Khaleej Times Newspaper Mr.Vijay Manikoth[For the past 4 years he is the Managing Director and CEO of Winning Edge Advertizing agency based in one of the free business zones of the United Arab Emirates] as one of the Contributing Editors of Probiz magazine which is the one & only Indian Business magazine based in Dubai & published only for a 5000 elite group of Indians as well as top Business organizations in the U.A.E. Moreover it is the official mouth piece of the Indian Business and Professional Council (IBPC) which is the only recognized representative organization of Indian Business and Professionals based in Dubai.I am very much thankful to Mr.Vijay for providing this opportunity to me,who is at present the Group Managing editor & publisher of this prestigious bi-monthly since the past 3 years. IBPC, Dubai was formed in the year 2003 after the unification of the three Indian business organizations in Dubai namely the Indian Business Council (IBC), Overseas Indians Economic Forum (OIEF) and Business & Professional Club (BPC). This new unified body was formed mainly to represent the Indian business and professional community in Dubai with all the activities of the three organizations conducted under the new banner. This formation of a single entity was in the larger interest of the Indian business community in Dubai to help better co-ordination of activities.
