I have sad news to share with you all: January 25, 2015 will be my last day as kantor of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Adell. I thank God for the good people of Adell, who brought me into their fold first as vacancy pastor, and then as kantor of their congregation. They were there at that time when Lela and I needed them most. But now, things have changed, and it is time to part ways. I will be available, starting on February 1, 2015, to be a supply organist or supply pastor at your Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod church, provided it is within reasonable distance of my residence in Sheboygan Falls. I will accept your going rate in your congregation. I would also be available to serve as a vacancy pastor or as a regular organist in a congregation, starting immediately. My desire is to serve as a full-time pastor in an LCMS parish, but I will serve in whatever area He leads me to serve. The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; Blessed be the name of the Lord. (Job 1:21) Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. (Proverbs 3: 5-6)
