I have seen a lot of politically charged posts on my newsfeed. Many of them are just plain antagonistic. Right Wing vs. Left Wing...Liberals are this, while conservatives are that...you know...the usual bullshit. People get so wrapped up in their opinions, and agendas to the point where they start to look like fanatics...no matter what side theyre on. The part that makes me laugh is the subsequent comment threads, where the first amendment kicks in to full gear. The original posters are attacked by opposing views. They learn the hard way that not everyone shares their views. So, they get angry. They fight. They insult the intelligence of those who disagree. What could have become a relevant debate becomes a school yard pushing match, and people end up looking stupid by the time its all over. And all through the process, Im sitting back and laughing my ass off. I would never tell anyone what or what not to post, so dont get me wrong. Just remember that if your going to go on political bashing rampages, youd better be prepared to get that shit thrown back in your face. As much as you have a right to express your opinion, so do the people who disagree with you...it is a free country after all....right?
