I have seen and heard the phrase talk white so many times, and its honestly hurtful. Its hurtful that people think that proper English is a privilege reserved only for the white race. Im not one to push a certain set of ideals, or a certain way of life, or even a certain language on anyone (or at least, its never my intention), but its hurtful to see the polarity between cultures simply because a few believe that education and knowledge should be shunned because it is associated with the white population. If youre one to strive for equality, then your priority should be global education.
