I have seen internal medicine (the service they admitted me under) kidney tx, pulmonary, endocrine and ID. I have way too many doctors! My kidney function is slowly coming back down. I am currently at 4.5. Still not great but way better then it was. My kidney tx doctor wants me in the 3s before he will be happy. For those who dont know normal is under 1. They are all thinking I still have the cdiff which caused the severe dehydration that led to all this. But we are still wanting on results to confirm that. Pulmonary thinks I just have a virus that has to work its course but they want to talk directly with my lung tx doctor before stopping the antibiotic. They currently have me on the same antibiotic I did at home at the end of July so bring on the benadryl.
