I have seen many posts recently about people getting ripped off by hoopmakers or having terrible customer service experiences and I was so afraid that an interaction I just saw was going to get lost in the Unity feed (as so many posts do) so I wanted to make sure I put it here too. Also because ...well...this is a hula hoop shop directory and a place where folks should come if they want to find out about customer service or what have you related to a particular hoop shop. Anyway, a few minutes ago, a hooper posted a terribly disturbing picture of her (literally) smashed to bits polypro hoop. Her hoop flew directly out into a street and was run over by TEN cars as she stood helplessly by and watched. Of course people were expressing condolences left and right over this tragedy and up comes a comment from Allison HoopConscious who believes that HoopConscious, in fact, made said demolished hoop and goes on to say that she would make this poor hooper another hoop of the same type if she takes care of shipping costs. WHICH, the hooper said she would happily do (of course). I have not personally ever bought a hoop from HoopConscious, nor do I know Allison personally at all, but I just thought this was awesome and wanted to throw kudos out to her. That chicks night just went from being devastated over the loss of her hoop to being ecstatic because shell have a brand new one just like it very soon. Super. Cool.
