I have seen the add posted regarding microwave popcorn on my site a few times and I just want to let everyone know that pyrex glass is safe for the oven and microwave but it is not recommended to pop popcorn in a pyrex dish in the microwave, it very well could explode on you. This is one of the statements that is given on the instructions when you purchase a pyrex item, furthermore I work for the company who owns and makes pyrex and I do not want to see anyone get hurt needlessly.
