I have serious respect for people who are honest and sell horses - TopicsExpress

I have serious respect for people who are honest and sell horses for a living. When we sell horses, 98% of the time, were either getting our money back out of them or were losing money on them. We dont sell horses for a living, thank goodness or wed be in the serious poor house. But when we decide a horse doesnt fit our program or were changing up the game plan at our house, its seriously frustrating to try to sell horses. People have no respect for your time and people are also very unrealistic. Im going to be 100% honest about our horses every time Im asked bc I believe God has a home for that horse and that person needs to know every single thing about it. Its REALLY frustrating when you tell someone about your horse and youre completely honest and then bc its not NFR ready, they arent interested. But they want an NFR horse for 10K. People, get real. If you want an NFR horse, you better have hundreds of thousands funding your want up. Another really important thing to understand is that just bc it doesnt fit what were wanting, doesnt mean it isnt any good. We only buy horses that we think are good or we think have TONS of potential. And were totally honest if you ask us why were selling. Right now, we have 20 horses at our house and between the store and a few other things we have going on, were tired of being so exhausted everyday. So our plan is to cut our herd down to about 10 and Im selling all of my projects bc I rarely have time to ride them. I only want to keep Finder, Missy and maybe one colt right now as far as barrel horses go. So if youre a serious buyer and youre interested in some nice horses, let us know. But please, please dont be unrealistic and/or waste our time!
