I have several times made a poor choice by avoiding a necessary confrontation. ~John Cleese I hate confrontation. Ive basically lived my life with the personal mantra cant we all just get along? I like pleasing people. Ill do about anything to avoid an argument. But I cant please everyone. Its impossible. Ive got to face the honest truth that people wont agree with me or wont be too pleased with all my actions or words. But Im getting to the point of understanding that confrontation is ok. Its how I learn. Instead of getting bothered that someone disagrees with me, Im taking it now as a learning opportunity to understand a view I didnt before. I dont want to avoid things anymore. I want to learn and be open. To me, thats life.
