I have some good news to post! Dr Ghabra, the nephrologist was in and feels the renal failure was caused by the Tobramycin breathing treatments. He said it is reversible and it will take several days to resolve. Will had more labs drawn this afternoon and his potassium was back down to normal and his kidney function (BUN and creatinine levels ) have slightly improved. His color is better than it has been in weeks. He is still having some ringing in the ears. Dr Long said he will need his hearing checked for any loss- i say we really need to check for selective hearing loss. He has had that for years! (Just kidding Will Thompson) God is good!
