I have some questions relating to space travel and if anybody has the expertise please help me to explain..... how can satellites and the space station be in space without getting hit with small meteorite projectiles?... arent there billions of these small fragments flying around at a fantastic rate of speed and wouldnt they go through the space station like a buck shot in a shot gun shell or a bullet? and destroy the space craft or satellite?... and as for radiation.. would this not kill our astronauts that landed on the moon?...... can someone with any expertise explain this to me thanks?.. this is not a trick question... its just on my mind and i want to know ~~Gio
