I have taken a long break from watching any kind of TV outside of on-demand Netflix documentaries and Once Upon a Time series episodes. Tonight I decided to try something different. Silly enough as it may seem, I decided to re-acquaint myself with the world of pop-culture and take a peek at the glorified circus that is the 2014 Victorias Secret fashion show.... In doing so, I had an almost profound moment of thought, reflecting on the very young human beings that waltzed across that glittery stage. It is sincerely incomprehensible how one persons experiences and reality can be so entirely different from someone elses, and still be true, still be very, very real.... how completely infinite this universe is, and the direction ones life can take. Simply, incredible. I didnt think about comparing figures or feeling sorry for myself... In that moment, I wondered what more could my life be made of? What else is out there, and how could my reality and experiences be different, and perhaps controlled? What is fantasy for one is reality for another. Things many of us could only dream of, other people are actually living right now. Think about that. We exist in the same space, yet live in our own very unique worlds... and the paths are limitless.
