I have taken way too long to post this and there is no excuse for my boorish behavior! From the bottom of my heart (and Im sure Blue Cats too) THANK YOU to everyone who has contributed to the Blue Cat fundraiser on Crowd Rise! The help I receive helps me continue to help the feral and abandoned cats in my community. Blue Cat has recovered and will be leaving the crate where she has been recovering from the attack and the surgery later today. She will join the cats on my dog-free floor. where she will hopefully bond with the 2 feral guys who are waiting for an indoor working placement. I hope to be able to get a pix or 2 before she finds a hiding place! Your help is especially wonderful right now since I have not only Blue Cats vet bills, but current and upcoming vet bills for my home colony cats. Big Brother was injured the night before Blue cats surgery. When I set the trap for him, Little Girl, his sister, came in before him. It turns out that she has a broken tooth and severe gingivitis so she will be going in a soon as I can.afford to take her. Big Brother (who finally came in after 13 days of setting the trap, and 2 days of Little Girls help) was lucky; the injury to his paw must be a sprain, and he only has a minor infection from severe over-grooming!
