I have the greatest friends in the world on this Facebook page! Thank you, thank you! The artistry/touring life for we ragamuffins out there is not always easy. Traveling has become astronomically expensive. It cost just about 2000. dollars a day for the bus, driver, gas, help on the road. Believe me, Id be glad to drive a van to work! Trouble is, after 20 years on the road, lets just say: been there done that and I have the wrinkles to show for it! Flying four people ten flights a week -- well, thats sometimes even more costly and hard on this old body! Then, theres the search for a building. For years and years, most of the places I went would seat about 250 or less. Then, as my territory expanded so did the buildings! (Oh, that Prayer of Jabez!!) most often it cost thousands and thousands to rent some buildings. Churches rent the space as well, as they should. Now we search for a place that holds at least 1000 to 1200 people and in some cities it has to be at least 3000 seats or we host a riot not a concert!!!! As a ticketed artist (a transition not taken lightly) - I count it a true blessing that one concert gives dozens of people a job doing something that is uplifting as opposed to entertainment that never honors God ripples tremendously. I cant tell you how many ticket printers, poster makers, janitors, bus drivers, popcorn makers have inched their way closer to Jesus simply out of curiosity over a comic that came to their town and filled up their building! All that to say: theres a lot to this job of mine. A lot! None of it would have happened without help - and YOU are the biggest part of my team! Thank you! For those who chimed in about ideas...
