I have the greatest of respect for the Doctors and Nurses who slave away for the NHS for a pittance, but the management sucks. Tonight I went to Broomfield Hospital to see my mum in the ward she was supposed to be in. When I asked where she was, I was told that shed been moved at 2.30 that day but they had no idea where. I went back to reception and explained the situation. But their system said she was where Id just been. So the receptionist kindly started calling wards at random to see if they knew where my mum was. After 40 minutes of calling she found someone who thought my mum was in a particular ward. When I went to that ward, they said she was not there and according to the system, she was in the ward, Id originally gone to. After more phone calls, we finally tracked her down and 90 minutes after I got to the hospital I eventually found my mum. According to the ward sister shed only just arrived - so for some 5 hours no-one could account for my bedridden mums whereabouts. Its not big and its not clever
