I have the most awesome #friends EVER! And, the best Vet, EVER! Today I panicked as I went for my walk and saw a poor little kitten almost nearing a busy street. I scared it back into a bush and grabbed it! It was sooooo frail and skinny! Just bones. I was afraid I would break it! I looked at his face and realized, BOTH eyes were closed. I thought he was blind. Both eyes were sealed shut and his right eye was soooo swollen. The other had horrible puss on it as well. I thought as I rushed back home, that hed be lucky to save one eye, much less, survive. To be honest, he smelled of infection and lost his bowels on me. I tried to give him a little water and he tried, but was so weak. My friends, Laurie Gentry, Brigitte Pascual, Caroline Christian, and of course, Curt Lawhorn came to the rescue! What a support group I have :) I tell you, when it matters, you find out who your true friends are!!! I thank them from the bottom of my HEART! :) xoxo! So, we rushed him to our vet and they took him in the back and started working. Pretty soon, they came out and said, they would be glad to take him and one of the vets would foster him back to health. But I wanted to make sure they wouldnt put him down and make sure he would be okay. They assured me they would NOT do that and were SOOOOOOO awesome at The Village Vet!!! They think he will make a full recovery! Thank you!!!! To those of you who donated for his medical help! Village Vets info is: VillageVet.LA. PM me if you need the donation info :) Then, the best part! They brought him out to me to say goodbye (for now), and BOTH of his eyes had been cleaned and he could see! What beautiful, green eyes! And, I have to say, he and I, had a moment. Really. To me, this is the stuff that makes life worth living. Wow!!!!! Life is good! I am soooooo #GRATEFUL and my heart is full! Ill go see him tomorrow and see how hes doing!!!! Thank you again, you wonderful peeps!!!!!! You all ROCK!!!!!!!!!
