I have the strangest luck. Yesterday, I had an appointment with the vet for 3 pm with Iggy. Got the van out of the backyard (its been sitting there all summer since I prefer using my scooter while the weather is warm), closed and locked the gate, got Iggy in, got myself in, put on my seatbelt, adjusted the mirrors (I let others borrow my van at times) and started it up. Then it died. Ran out of gas right in the driveway. Bummer! No biggie, I keep a gas can filled with gas in the backyard. Get out of the van, unlock the gate, go get the gas can, lock the gate back up, flip open the gas panel and what do I find??? HELL NO!!! I wasnt ABOUT to start messing with that swarm! Im severely allergic and I dont have an epi pen. Two wasps sat on my arm almost immediately. The photos show only a remnant AFTER the majority of them flew off. I couldnt get to Iggy for a few minutes. Had to call the vet and tell Sarah Id be late. Iggy had his first scooter ride and he crowed at almost every red light. The looks I got from people were priceless! I cant figure out how those wasps got in there, considering the panel was closed.
