I have this crazy messed up story to tell Yall. From 20 years ago... I was in Basic Underwater Demolition School out in CA. The CO, or welding instructor, who had over 30 years experience said this: Every welder has his own style to running beads. A weld is like a signature, He could look at a weld, without the use of a x-ray machine, and tell if it would hold or not, and see by looking who ran the weld. I ask, like an animal track? and a brand on a cows hide. Yes. He said. Then he told me this story here: YOU may have a torpedo dropped out of the sky by a dive bomber, and not blow a hole in the side of your ship, but it will still make a big hole, so you and your shipmates lives MAY DEPEND on You. Be Sure to Git It Right! Then he tells me this: You maybe stuck out in the middle of the Ocean! AND! We may have a nuclear war! You and your crew maybe the last living men left on Earth! And. You may have to find all the muty women to make love to, and repopulate our Earth!! See? Why. I used to be Kinda-Crazy... Si. Ce. See. Cee.
