I have thought long and hard of the disappointment that I feel. I will never see my country free in my lifetime and that hurts. But, what hurts even more is that only 17% of those over 65 voted YES, whereas 70% of 16 to 18 year olds voted YES! I feel we have, as a Nation, no reason for helping our young forward! I feel ashamed that those like me who have had their life can be so self centred. To my young friends I wish to apologise for the craven self interest of those and I could weep!
