I have to be honest, I am not at all surprised at the lack of progress most of the people I know in my life have made. This city. One new building. Three years. Who am I to judge? Ive been in California for a week. Take it with a pinch of salt, Im just one perspective, it doesnt matter if you dont see the pace in which you build upon yourself, or build others. To build... When does that become undesirable? At the same time, take it easy. No need to stress on bills, cold coffee, spilt milk, or stinky fish. Im sure you realize it, whenever CNN or New York Times publishes an article of an iPhone 6, Get Fit Fast scheme, or top complaints among lovers... You might think, Why is it climate change, poverty, homelessness, or anything else that matters not spoken of? Well, if youve read this much already, congratulations, you probably have the intelligence and will to build a solution for those challenges we face as a society. If it matters to you, of course. It matters to me. The happiness and welfare of others matters to me. Thats why its slightly depressing seeing familiar faces in the same place I left them, smiling less than ever. Whats there to lose? Everything? Well, you have everything to gain. Comfortable doesnt equate to happiness.
