I have to be the hardest person when it comes to Christmas, every year I get asked the same question, what do you want for Christmas?. Well the answer is always the same..... nothing.... but in all the years no one has ever asked why? so today I will share my secret...... there is only one thing I have ever truly wanted for Christmas and I have only ever asked for it once.... 20 years ago tonight.... I asked a Jody to marry me... she said yes and ever since then asking for anything else seemed pointless. Over the last 20 years we have gone from a couple of crazy kids to where we are today ( somewhat older and ..well Jody has grown up and we all know by I never will). We have had our highs and lows and faced challenges in the good and the bad, our lives have become quite different then we planned yet at the same time has become exactly what we always wanted. Even though time has passed I still wake up every morning and see the same young woman I fell in love with so quickly and deeply all those years ago. So this year for Christmas I have one thing to ask for.... that you all look at the people who have stood by you, loved you and brought joy to your lives. As for me... I have 3 great kids... I am surrounded by great people everyday, tonight I will share Christmas eve with my entire family..... so I have everything I need , Im good....
