I have to confess that even though I grew up with dogs, I have a very healthy respect, and a bit of a fear of strange dogs. So, today at 4 oclock went off for a walk with Stephen down the Dark Road opposite The Lodge. On our way back we met a car coming towards us, it stopped and the driver said dont worry about the two dogs, they are friendly it turned out this guy takes his dogs for a walk, by leaving them out of the car, and then drives off and they run or walk after him! The dogs were 2 ROTTWEILERS. I have not been so terrified in a long time as we walked towards the dogs. One of the dogs jumped up on Stephen but he was able to manage the situation, I was so paralysed with fear I just started to cry. Doggie owners out there please keep your dogs on a lead! Not sure if I can go down the Dark Road for a while.
