I have to give big thanks to everyone who made my family and I’s journey across the country to spread the word about my book, Lost In The Dream, such a success. Thank you to my brother, Javon Rahmaan, for being at my first reading in Charlotte, NC. I was so nervous I read as fast as I could so I could return to my seat. :) Thank you to my cousin Sia Jenneh Suttonand her husband Derrik who came to my reading in Atlanta, GA. During that reading I slowed down, but I was so nervous my legs shook uncontrollably the entire time I was up there. Thanks to Mocalux in Arlington, TX for allowing me to add my voice. In New Mexico my mother-in-law, my brother Justin Bixler and sister-in-law Victoria Bixler, Auntie Cyndi Guidry Pino, Uncle Joe Pino, my cousins Timothy Joseph Pino and Nikki Solivan, Peggy Martinez and Auntie Christine, Auntie Vangie, Karla Karla Montoya Paul, Gloria Montoya Salazar and Louis Salazar who all came out for my reading at the Plaza in Old Town Albuquerque. Brumfield, Auntie Jackie, Uncle Donnie Bruce, Auntie Zeffie Bruce, Uncle Anthony, Kimberley Collins, and Mayumi Uchida for making that afternoon a huge success.
