I have to laugh. During holidays, I choose to ignore my usual political posts and impassioned opinions. I just want a break from the usual roller coaster of emotions I am on and I want my friends to be able to enjoy the holiday as well, free of my clutter. Not everyone feels this way, however. I saw some posts about a hotly debated topic. The author responded in the comments to another commentator...contrary to popular opinion, (the event) isnt about the color of someones skin. I had to laugh. Not only are they blind about racial issues (that good ol white privilege) but they are delusional in thinking they are some sort of a rebel in their world view. When I make a statement that is in line with popular opinion. I receive a number of likes and comments. When it is NOT in line with popular opinion, it doesnt. If you have 43 likes and 68 comments, you are not the rebel you think you are. You are just one of the crowd, a sheep whether you like it or not. Delusion~~~~its whats for dinner.
