I have to laugh at all the commercials on which is the best Vacuum.....and have read fights on YouTube over whats better. Is there one perfect superior vacuum for everyone? NO. Depends upon what you are looking for and howuch you have to spend and allergies and pets and how indestructible you want it to be. If you want the best closed system vacuum that is bagless, lightweight, versatile then I suggest the shark lift always. If you have over $500 (much less if you buy refurbished) and want the best vacuum for allergies and pet hair and still easy to use and versatile. I suggest a newer version of my Dyson DC28 Animal. But it is heavy due to the amount of suction but it is made of plastic so it has a limited life but no bag and nothing escapes this beast. Then there are the Royal and Kirby metal uprights. They have super suction are Ade f metland will last a lifetime but they are not sealed. If you have less than $100 Bissell makes a very nice bagless vortex vac. But you will still need a nice wet dry vac aka shop vac no mater what you have. But the best deal is by far the shark navigator lift away.
