I have to say thanks to Billy Dowd Casting and Chelsea Lynn Peterson for the opportunity to work on Foxcatcher, I had the chance to talk with Nancy Stoffel Schultz and Alexander Willis Schultz as well as Mark Schultz. They were extremely friendly and like family to everyone on set. I remember my first day that I was called to stand-in. The second second Jeff Hubbard got a call over the radio after I set my scene up for Mr. Francis J. Murphy Jr. who plays Wayne Kendall, Steve Carells (John Duponts head of security). I asked him if everything was ok. The AD Scott Robertson asked him if I was a professional. I believe he told him that I was experienced. Little did I know that a day when I walked in as a wrestling fan that production called and asked for me. That was the first day that I had the honor of backing up Mr. Carells regular stand-in, Kevin Maier imdb/name/nm1510705/. He has been with him for many years. From that day forward, I was known as The Professional. I even got to back up my good friend Brian Cowin who was extremely sick with The Foxcatcher, and I stood in the final day for Channing Tatum. Greig Fraser was the DP (also won an award for Zero Dark Thirty), and was one of the best Ive worked with. If it had not been for him, Id have never worked on True Detective. To all of my friends, you can do everything Ive done. Thank you to Ben Jeran McGinn and Henry Donohue Frost for teaching me how to grow and be a true professional at what I love doing. 2nd Team For Life. #Foxcatcher
