I have to say that so far I have had no difficulties with the after effects of this surgery...well, I did almost create a problem this morning after going to the grocery store. I was very hot and thirsty after my half hour trip through and bought a bottle of water. I got to the car and started to drink like I normally do when I am in that condition. Fortunately I remembered after the second swallow and was able to avoid the third gulp...I need to sip, not chug my drinks from now on. The other thing I have noticed is that I am much more aware of the salt in things. I swear I can taste "salty" hours after I have had some higher sodium product. Not really liking that.
