I have to shake my head at what some sports clubs will do to make money. Late fees + out-of-township fees = 20% markup on players registered late. It doesnt make sense to beg us for our registration, then penalize us for participating as a response to your request! One of the reasons Im so honored to be part of Southampton Girls Club Softball is that we just want our girls to play! We understand the difficulties late registrations present, but we weather through EVERY year and manage to have successful seasons WITHOUT penalizing busy/out-of-township parents. I know our club is the odd-man-out in this scenario (every club has extra charges), but hope our membership recognizes how much we have the players/parents in mind at all times. Im already looking forward to a great 2015 season!
